After gaining a BSc (Hons) in Topographic Science from the University of Glasgow, Jennifer Ellis decided to pursue a career as a hydrographic surveyor on survey vessels working in the oil industry within the North Sea and further afield, with Subsea 7, formerly Halliburton Subsea.
However she decided her feet were better on dry land rather than on the high seas and after 5 years in this industry returned to Glasgow School of Art Digital Design Studio to complete an M.Phil in Advanced 2D & 3D Motion Graphics & Virtual Prototyping. Which accelerated her use of cutting edge technology.
For the last 22 years Jennifer has worked within the Financial Services sector previously with her father, Raymond, and now with her sister Nicola.
Jenny is primarily focused on business technology, systems, processes and business continuity and has worked for a variety of life, pension & investment providers, government agencies, professional firms & charities in roles with Scott-Moncrieff, Close Brothers Asset Management & Sinclair Wood Asset Management.
Now an experienced director of Wellington Wealth, Jenny ensures a smooth running of the business and team.
