Most financial firms choose a logo. We chose a philosophy.

Our logo is rooted in the legend of St Mungo, the Glasgow coat of arms and four symbols that have guided a city for centuries.

We suspect most people glance at a financial firm’s logo and think little of it. A compass, perhaps. A stylised initial. An abstract mark that could belong to anyone. We wanted something different. We wanted something that meant something.

Our logo draws directly from the Glasgow coat of arms and the beloved legend of St Mungo, the city’s patron saint. The original verse is one of Scotland’s most enduring:
